News: JMW Team Up With Sports Immigration Specialists

The sports team at Manchester-based law firm JMW Solicitors LLP have launched a new immigration service aimed at both football clubs and players.
JMW have teamed up with EMD, dedicated immigration specialists, to offer both clubs and players a range of advice on immigration issues including immigration applications for players, supporting clubs to become a tier 2 sponsor so they can recruit international players and creating Home Office accredited English language assessment tests. The dedicated team can also provide English language training for players so they can communicate with their team-mates, club management and the press when they relocate to the UK.
EMD have previously worked with several Premiership football clubs and acted on behalf of well-known footballers on their immigration applications. Ben Haworth, Head of Sport at JMW, will head up the new immigration service for clubs and players and work closely with EMD's Managing Director, Stuart Hanson.
JMW are currently global legal advisers to Soccerex and will have stand at the European Forum that takes place at Manchester Central next week. During both days of the forum JMW's specialist lawyers will be joined by advisers from EMD to the launch the new immigration service to clubs.
